Les Calanques
After leaving the house in Aups, we drove down to Aix for two nights before spending a day in Cassis and a night in La Ciotat. Our goal for these two towns was to see the Calanques, which I guess are basically small fjords carved into the coastline. In Cassis, we bought tickets for a boat tour, and in La Ciotat we walked two miles to Figuerolles, a beach set within the walls of a smaller calanque.
